Communication between the inverter and the battery takes place via the battery communication cable via CAN bus. Additionally required material (not included in the scope of delivery): 1 battery communication cable for the communication between inverter and battery

Restart inverter and verify device in SetApp, select Status > Communication > Home Network OK. Connect the communication cable to the battery's RS485 connector as shown below. Open Communication Gland 2 at the bottom of the inverter's Connection Unit. Remove the connector from the port labeled 2nd Inv-Battery on the communication board.
If you want to connect your battery with Solis inverters, the communication ports on the inverter side are as follows: CAN-H (Controller Area Network High) on Pin 4 (blue) CAN-L (Controller Area Network Low) on Pin 5 (blue/white)
