In this paper, a power management technique is proposed for the solar-powered grid-integrated charging station with hybrid energy storage systems for charging electric vehicles along both AC and DC loads.
Solar PV panels and battery energy storage systems (BES) create charging stations that power EVs. AC grids are used when the battery of the solar power plant runs out or when weather conditions are not appropriate. In addition, charging stations can facilitate active/reactive power transfer between battery and grid, as well as vehicle.
