A Novel Surface LC Wireless Passive Temperature Sensor Applied in Ultra-High Temperature Measurement,” IEEE Sensors Journal, 19 (1) Jan 2019, 105–112. J. Micromech. Microeng. IOP Publising Ltd., 29 (3) (2019), p. 035015, 10.1088/1361-6439/aafde1
A passive wireless high-temperature sensor for far-field applications was developed for stable temperature sensing up to 1000 °C. The goal is to leverage the properties of electroceramic materials, including adequate electrical conductivity, high-temperature resilience, and chemical stability in harsh environments.
The application of passive wireless sensors to monitor processing parameters like temperature is promising but is still limited due to power losses experienced by the antenna communication systems and potential RF interference from harsh environments.
The temperature sensing capacitor has been designed as the Graphene Oxide films capacitor. To form the Graphene Oxide dispersion, it has been exfoliated in deionized water using ultra-sonication. The dispersions are then used to form the Graphene Oxide films.
Here capacitive sensing has been utilized to sense and measure temperature with the help of Si/Au bi-morphs coupling between primary (reading side) and secondary side (sensing side) of the LC sensor.
Tan et al. have designed another temperature sensor along with pressure and humidity . L. Lin et al. have used homemade LTCC tapes to design and fabricate LC temperature sensor . In recent years, LC sensor based temperature measurement systems are profusely used for measuring very high temperature. Y.
